Have you ever told a lie? How did it make you feel? Did you later confess that you had lied? What happened? How did you feel then?
It’s second nature to try and hide our mistakes, but rarely do things go well when we lie. Sid accidentally breaks Von-Von’s garden globe, and then tries to repair it so she won’t find out. When he cuts his finger, he learns that it is much better to tell the truth. This book teaches telling the truth to children.This story was illustrated in watercolor by Hayley John. She is a teenager that I worked with on the Sid Series. You could be a story illustrator by participating in my art and talent showcase.
