Who are the Crystal Children?

Toward the end of 1990 we began seeing a different energy emerging. This Crystalline energy, also known as Crystal children, use their telepathic abilities from the moment they appear on this planet. Because of this natural telepathic ability they have delayed speech patterns. Some Crystal children have delayed their speech until the age of three or four years.

If parents identify with their own telepathic abilities, and use this method of communication, their Crystal child will feel comfortable adapting to the world around them and speak. Because of this delay many physicians have diagnosed these children with autism. In these situations we must ask if the child is communicating through a form of sign language and song. Sound is very important to Crystal children and they love to sing. There is no coincidence that as this multitude of Crystal children are born, that the number of diagnoses for autism will rise to record levels.

In the new world that the Indigos are ushering in, we will all be more aware of our intuitive thoughts and feelings. We will no longer rely upon the spoken or written word. Communication will be clear, direct, honest, and mind-to-mind. Already increasing numbers of us are getting in touch with our psychic abilities. Our interest in the paranormal is at an all-time high, accompanied by books, television, and movies on the topic.

So, it is not surprising that the generations following the trailblazers, known as Indigos, are incredibly telepathic. These children are among the most connected, communicative, and caring. Crystal children are the way of the new world, and they bring to us a level of kindness and sensitivity we have never experienced. Both the Indigo and Crystal children/adults are here to assist the world as we evolve to a higher vibration where love and empathy become the norm rather than the exception.

Teaching Kids to Meditate

My daughter-in-law loves her quiet moments and has taught her boys to respect her time of retreating to be still and know God. Therefore, meditation has been a familiar practice for my grandson from an early age. Currently, 9-year-old Sidney is taking karate lessons and meditation is part of that discipline as well. I saw Sidney sitting outside in lotus position when he was at my house recently. He was meditating with eyes open while gazing upon a sunflower that was growing along our fence. Obviously, the practice of meditation has become a natural part of his life and serves him well. He is the most easy-going, loving, self-disciplined, and even-tempered child I've ever known! He's the main character in The Sid Series.

One of the stories in The Sid Series book teaches children to develop their ability to sense and trust their intuition through meditation. If you are looking for a book to help your child learn to meditate and focus on his spirit within, I recommend Sid's Fairy ~ Learning About Inner Guidance. It is available (along with all twelve of my holistic stories for children) on SmashWords.com formatted for Amazon's Kindle, Sony Reader, the iPhone and iPad.

How do you help a child deal with the death of a beloved pet?

Puppy Love ~ Dealing with the Death of a Pet
Author: Yvonne Perry
ISBN: 9780982572207
Publisher: Write On! (2006)
Available from Amazon at http://tinyurl.com/AmazonSidSeries
Review by Donna B. Russell

How do you help a child deal with the death of a beloved pet when you, yourself, struggle to understand "why"? Yvonne Perry does so with simplicity, sensitivity, and the understanding that children need to be allowed to express their own thoughts and, in doing so, may impart a wisdom of their own.

When the family dog dies of old age, Ran-Ran, Von-Von and grandson Sid must come to terms with their grief. In an atmosphere of safety and acceptance, Von-Von wonders out loud why dogs don't live as long as humans do. Sid's surprising response, and a stray puppy, help them come to terms with their loss and open their hearts to another dog in need of love. Without euphemisms that are confusing to children, Yvonne Perry's tender story takes you through grief to healing, ending on a positive note.

Perry says, "Some people will tell you that dogs and cats don’t have souls so they can’t go to heaven, but I don’t believe that." Anyone who has lived with an animal companion, and taken the time to really understand them, would agree with her. This is one of the best books I've read on the subject of pet loss.

Puppy Love is one in a series of holistic children's books written by Yvonne (Von-Von in the book) for her grandson Sid, who is the main character. It may be written for children, but adults will enjoy it, too. I recommend it as a sensitive way to help children (and adults) deal with a very painful subject.

Yvonne Perry is a freelance writer, editor, award-winning speaker, and owner of Writers in the Sky Creative Writing Services in Nashville, TN. She also is host of the Writers in the Sky podcast, which include interviews, seminars, and audio workshops available through iTunes.com and other podcast directories.

Robbie the Butterfly Book Review

Today I'm helping holistic author Robert Larson with his book tour. What better way to present a book than with a book review by a child who has read the book? My 8-year-old granddaughter Keilie and her mother provided this video book review for Robbie the Butterfly. The audio volume makes it difficult to hear what she is saying, so I am providing a script of her dialog.

My name is Keilie. I am doing a book review for Robbie the Butterfly by Robert Larson.

“Once upon a time there was a caterpillar named Robbie who grew up in a strange caterpillar world. Even as a tiny caterpillar, Robbie felt different from the other little caterpillars because, deep down, Robbie knew he was destined to transform into something wonderful. However, he didn’t know exactly what and it took him years to find out.”

Robbie the Butterfly is about a strange caterpillar living in a strange caterpillar world. He learns to be truthful in the book. Once he is truthful he turns into a butterfly. I liked everything about the book because it is nice. The main characters are Robbie, his family, and Angelly.

Robert Larson is a starseed/lightworker on the path of ascension. His mission in life is to spread the message to the children of the New Earth that being fully present each moment of your life is the key to spiritual transformation. His message to parents out there is to allow your kids to be empowered so they can transcend the wheel of karma and live a life of peaceful non-judgement. He is sharing this message through his book Robbie the Butterfly, which uses the caterpillar to butterfly transformation as a metaphor for the real transformation you go through when you live these truths.

Who Are Our Teachers?

It's time for kids to go back to school and I certainly trust that each one will have a safe and enjoyable learning adventure this year. I was reminiscing today about the years when I taught preschool for a mother's day out program back in the 1990s. I wonder what those students--now adults--are doing, what they look like, what has transpired in their lives. I am reminded of how important it is to realize that we are all teachers in some respect and that we have a lasting impact upon others--even those who are only in our lives briefly. I still remember some of the teachers I had in elementary, middle, high school and college. I carry some part of them with me always.

My reading in A Course in Miracles today was about about teachers. There is not a single person from whom we cannot learn. By the same token, there is no one whom we cannot teach. It's impossible for us to meet or come into contact with every person on the planet; that's why there are so many teachers and so many kinds of teachers--in fact, we are all teachers and students in this world.

So I ask, "Who are our teachers?" Perhaps I should ask, "Who is NOT our teacher?"
As parents, caregivers, and instructors, we all have a responsibility to be aware of the example we set for the young ones in our lives.

The Lost Secret of the Green Man: Book 2 (The Crystal Keeper Chronicles)

The Lost Secret of the Green Man: Book 2 (The Crystal Keeper Chronicles)
Author: Tiffany Turner
Trafford Publishing (2009)
ISBN 9781426921575
Reviewed by Evan Weldon (age 8) for Reader Views

The Lost Secret of the Green Man: Book 2” by Tiffany Turner is an AWESOME book! This book is about two girls who go into the fairy world to help save the bees that the fairies are finding dead everywhere. The first chapter is a little bit slow but the rest of the book is page-turning entertainment.

The book starts out on Wanda’s first day of middle school. Wanda is no ordinary kid. She is a Crystal Keeper and has a cat named Brewford who is a sorcerer. As a Crystal Keeper she does missions for the fairies. Once she gets to school, class starts and she meets a girl named Eddie. They become best friends. But unbeknownst to Wanda, Eddie, like her, is a Crystal Keeper and has a mission from the fairies. After school Eddie said that she knew a place that Wanda would like, so they ran to the park. At the park there was a little hill with a tree which was Eddie’s special tree for entering the fairy world. Then Eddie revealed to Wanda that she was a Crystal Keeper and that the fairy queen had a job for the two of them. All the bees were dying and that since the bees helped the fairies before, now it was time for the fairies to help the bees. So the girls headed to a crystal store to do research and found a book about the Green Man. The Green Man balanced the forest life but now that most people thought he was a myth, he went into hiding. Eddie and Wanda go in search of the Green Man in hopes that he will know why the bees are dying and can help them. Will they find the Green Man? Does he know what is happening to the bees? Can they save the bees? Is some evil brewing?

The mission was more dangerous and complicated than they had anticipated. Luckily, they had the help of Chyra, a unicorn, and Brewford’s crystal-ball reading teacher who was a cat. The crystal ball revealed secrets even graver than the bees dying. Will Wanda and Eddie be able to help? Will they survive?

I would recommend this book to all my friends. The Lost Secret of the Green Man: Book 2” book is great. There is something in it for everyone to enjoy. It leaves off on a cliff hanger, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the third book!

Honoring a Child's Intuition

A Review of Yvonne Perry’s book, The Sid Series
by Jim Wawro

Children are born with an innate spiritual sense, with the high creativity that comes with intuition, and with self-love. But, unless they are guided to value these gifts, some combination of upbringing, society, or school often causes children to ignore these important elements of a happy life. It then takes a lifetime of experience for these same children to relearn the gifts they already possessed when they were very young. If you’re an adult—parent, grandparent, teacher—with important influence over a young child, how can you best nurture that child’s innate spiritual sense and holistic growth?

Reading to that child Yvonne Perry’s cleverly illustrated The Sid Series ~ A Collection of Holistic Stories for Children  is an easy way to teach a young child about love, acceptance, self-worth, intuition, caring for the body, facing fears, dealing with change, and understanding the spiritual experiences most young children exhibit. The twelve individual stories in The Sid Series, told through a young boy’s visits with his grandmother, each focus on a different life skill, such as environmental awareness, helping others, being true to one’s self, overcoming fear, healing, and following inner guidance. During each of Sid’s interactions with his grandmother, their dialogue frames the lesson of that story and resolves the issue with Sid’s acknowledgement of the meaning of the experience.

To my mind, the real value of The Sid Series is its recitation of enjoyable stories about everyday events in a child’s life, with the adults honoring the child’s creativity, and thereby encouraging it. How often does that happen in a three-year-old’s life? If you’re an adult with significant influence in the life of a very young child, reading metaphysician Yvonne Perry’s The Sid Series to that child is an easy way to communicate powerful and loving messages about how to enjoy the dignity and worth of the human experience.

Jim Wawro, Author, Ask Your Inner Voice. While trying cases as an international lawyer, he discovered that some people have learned the secret to actively calling on inspiration whenever they need it. His books reveal the proven methods used by history's greats and regular people alive today for actively tapping into the wisdom that lies within you. www.ActivateIntuition.com.
