Empowering the Caregiver of Children with Autism

As soon as the awareness of a child with autism clicks in at about age seven or eight, all kinds of things start to unravel and unfold for them. Half of what they have played out or mirrored prior to this age is all of our sadness and guilt that may have come from somebody saying that an autistic child is disordered. That’s not very comforting when this happens to be your child.  If we understand that autistic individuals are new souls trying to take on a human body for the first time, you will realize that they are functioning in a very right brained way for a very good reason. When we realize this, empowerment comes for the parent or the teacher or therapist.  There is a connection made at the level of heart, the level of pure love, without worry. It is beyond what you can see, feel, touch, taste.
These children have a lot to say about their ability to be here. They will stay very aware and focused on the unseen realm until these other pieces fall into place. Their vibration is much lighter and faster. Diet causes density at a physical level. Some of the things that we take into our physical bodies are very toxic but some of us have learned to adapt. These new individuals have not learned how to adapt.  They are very sensitive to those kinds of things.  Their digestive tracks are very sensitive.  Also it is very difficult for these individuals to connect with somebody who is in a place of fear, worry, concern, or guilt because that energy is very heavy and very dense.  More often than not parents, teachers, therapists, whoever is working with these children note changes when around this type of energy or food substances.
YOUR TURN: What has your experience been regarding food and autistic children? Do you see a difference when a healthy diet is maintained over a junk food diet?
Join us tomorrow on this blog for another segment of Suzy Miller’s discussion on how to communicate with autistic children.
